Review: the Endura SingleTrack II Enduro helmet
The SingleTrack II is one of the lightest helmets that is still rated for Enduro riding. We have tested it for you.
In 2014, Endura released the first SingleTrack helmet. It was an immediate success due to its low weight, top ventilation and high-quality design. The first Singletrack has set the bar pretty high, and much is expected of the II version. I was lucky enough to review it and I was more than impressed.

I really like the way the SingleTrack II looks.
High-quality at a low price
When I first unpacked the SingleTrack II, I was surprised. Like seriously? They are offering this helmet at such a great price? Everything about how it is made screams high-quality and it is so lightweight that you expect it to cost so much more than it does.
The in-mould design and ventilation port placement is unique and optically pleasing.
The back of the helmet reaches far down my head and protects exactly what needs to be protected during Enduro rides. The visor can be pushed up in four different positions, which leaves plenty of room for goggles.
The adjustment options are great.
It can be adjusted to fit anyone.
The fit
When I first put on the helmet, I noticed that I had chosen the right size, but there was still a little pressure around my temples. To fix this I inspected the inside of the lid. There are plenty of adjustment options including moving the entire fit system backwards. This is done by removing the cradle from the anchor points towards the front of the helmet. There are three positions it can be adjusted to, and I moved them all the way back. After, putting the helmet on again, I tightened the micro-adjust dial and it fit perfectly!
Ventilation & sweat management
Taking another look at the inside of the helmet, I saw the air channels that help move the air over my head. When riding, they did a great job of keeping me cool. Of course, when I really started pumping, I started to sweat. To keep it all from rolling in my eyes and pouring down my face, the anti-bacterial pads absorbed everything. Included are standard pads, as well as a set with a fly net.
Endura Crash Replacement
The SingleTrack II is part of Endura’s Crash Replacement Program. This means, if at some point the helmet does have to protect you from injury, Endura will offer you a comparable replacement helmet at half the MSRP. All you have to do, is be able to provide a receipt that shows that the helmet is less than three years old and that it was bought from a European Endura partner. The three years might put you off, but honestly you should be replacing your helmet at least that often so it can continue to protect you in case of a crash.
I love riding with this helmet.
What a lid!
The Endura SingleTrack II is now my go to helmet and it has given me the security I need for the past three months on various rides, especially on my way to work. It´s lightweight, and top ventilation make it one of my all-time favourites. On top of that, the adjustment options ensure that it will fit almost every head. So if you need a new helmet, definitely take a look at the Singletrack II. At that price, it’s hard to beat.
