bc Testival - demo day at the Aachen bike park
bike-components’ first ever demo day, the bc Testival took place last weekend. Customers had a chance to test the newest bikes from different brands.
Premium brands Yeti, Santa Cruz and Nicolai came out to the Aachen bike park to assemble a fleet of more than 60 demo bikes. Riders from Germany, Holland and Belgium took advantage of the exclusive opportunity to test ride and compare the sparkling new 2018 MTB models on the different trails in the park and the surrounding area.

The weather was far from perfect, but that did not stop the fun.
Normally, you have panoramic views into Holland's rolling hills from the bc Testival grounds, but this Saturday was different. Rain and fog greeted the test riders and would stay all day. The different runs in the park turned into challenging and slippery slides, making for even better testing.

A special set-up for special bikes
Be it the long Nicolai Geometron, Yeti’s agile Switch Infinity Link or a well-balanced Santa Cruz rig, riders had come from near and far to take advantage of this unique opportunity to ride and compare these premium bikes, which are hard to find in general and never at the same time. Riders received a briefing and an individual bike setup at the different booths before they set off and usually returned with a big muddy smile from the track.

The first bc Testival was a big success
Hard to believe, but the 2017 bc Testival was our initiation into customer bike testing events. We were very excited to see how it would go down and we were not disappointed. Riders came in droves to try out their dream bikes and have a chat and a Bratwurst with us. I truly believe that I am speaking for all the visitors when I announce that I’m already looking forward to next year’s bc Testival. We are already working on bringing on even more brands.
