3min19sec Pedal Wrench 15 mm
The Pedal Wrench by 3min19sec is a welcome help when loosening and tightening pedals
The 3min19sec pedal wrench always promotes an optimal working position thanks to its offset and the two 15 mm forks. The long lever and the rubberised handle allow effortless and safe work. Of course, the wrench can also be used as a normal 15 mm open-end wrench and, in addition to the two forks, has a third 15 mm socket as a ring wrench in the middle.
Workshop Tip:
Pedals have threads running in opposite directions so that they cannot come loose while riding. This means that the right pedal has a right-hand thread, the left pedal a left-hand thread.
Loosen Pedals:
The easiest way to release a pedal is to bring the crank forward horizontally, place the pedal wrench to the rear in the direction of the bottom bracket (also as horizontally as possible) and then press the wrench downwards. This way both sides can be released without problems.
Tighten Pedals:
To tighten the pedal, align it horizontally to the rear. Position the wrench forward towards the bottom bracket (again as horizontally as possible) and push the pedal wrench down.
