Protective, breathable, practical: the Trail Spring / Fall Hooded Jacket by ASSOS

The ASSOS Trail Spring / Fall Hooded Jacket features lightweight insulation, breathable materials, a fit tailored for off-road riding and all-round protection. It combines well with the ASSOS SS Trail and LS Trail jersey in the cool, changing weather conditions of spring and autumn. A newly developed, ultra-soft and flexible material called RX TECH Melange, a blended fabric, is used on the front, shoulders and head. It is brushed on the inside, which creates a slightly insulating protective layer during long downhill runs. In addition, the high collar on the hood, with the zipper closed all the way up, serves as a built-in neck protector.
By the way, the hood of the Trail Spring / Fall Hooded Jacket is not meant to be worn under a helmet and while riding, but to provide warmth before and after the ride. The back panel of the jacket is made of a lightweight, breathable material (circular knit triangle textile) that wicks moisture away from underlying layers and is familiar from trail jerseys. On the sleeves, ASSOS has used slightly brushed RX fabric on the inside for extra insulation, while the elbows are protected by abrasion-resistant dyneRope.
The fit of the Trail Spring / Fall Hooded, the so-called trailFit, is close-fitting and tailored to trail bikes, although you also cut a fine figure with it in recreational use. The double zipper, through which air can be let in from above or the jacket can be worn like a cape, as well as an inside pocket for small items are further practical features.

RX TECH Melange
A brushed grey circular knit fabric, designed to provide excellent comfort with its moisture-wicking, lightly-insulating and highly-flexible properties.

RX
Proven brushed bi-stretch warp knit fabric designed to wick moisture and provide a light insulating effect.

Triangle
An interlocking circular knit fabric with mono-stretch for vertical stability. Ultra soft, with USF 35, can be printed effortlessly.

dyneRope
A tightly woven, tear-resistant fabric. This textile fibre is fifteen times stronger than steel, blended with a black polyethylene and placed in strategic areas to protect exposed skin from abrasions.

Size Guide:

ASSOS products are manufactured specifically for cycling. The cut of the products is anatomically shaped according to the ASSOS cut design philosophy AEPD. This means that ASSOS products perfectly surround and protect the body without constricting it when riding. ASSOS products are not very comfortable in the upright position - they stretch - and this is completely normal. So go into a bent posture like on a bike and feel how it " clicks" and the clothes now fit perfectly. ASSOS technical products are made for real cycling and not for leisure activities.
