Just installed this one, so I can't comment on durability but it looks and feels nice. They just are a bit less thought out than the Shimano Zee BB they're replacing. Whereas the notches on the Shimano tool were blind so that you could rest your installation tool against it, those on this Acros BB are open so you need to be a bit more careful with your installation tool to keep it properly positioned. I'm using a simple spanner-type installation tool though it was actually not properly clearing the bolts of my One-Up chain guide (the one with bash guard) so ideally you'd use one of those socket-type installation tools. I was surprised to find the preload bolt along with the bottom bracket, as the bolt is typically something that comes with your cranks, not the BB. I installed it and it fits fine (in my Zee cranks). Just mind you that it takes an 8mm allen key, which may be an issue for those who don't have an 8mm allen key included in their portable toolkit and happen to find their crank coming loose during a ride. I'm fine, my folding tools do have the 8mm tool but why they chose this size is beyond me. The bolt is not supposed to be fastened super tight, hence the slightly un-ergonomic of the original Shimano tool. The 8mm size suggests something different. Don't get me wrong, you'll be able to install it properly, it is just silly they made it worse than the Shimano BB it likely replaces. If it is more durable though, I'm happy.
