The BB5 MTB is a no-compromise disc brake for riders looking for a system without hydraulics. The mechanical system is easier to adjust and maintain than a hydraulic disc brake and is also convincing in wet conditions. The set comes without brake levers and cables. These would have to be ordered separately if required. The BB5 MTB is compatible with all Avid brake levers. The brake can be used both as a front wheel brake and as a rear wheel brake.
