B&W Li-Ion Carry & Store Type 6040 Transport Case for E-bike Batteries

B&W has developed the Li-Ion Carry & Store Type 6040 specifically for transporting e-bike batteries. A maximum of two lithium-ion batteries can be transported in the hard case, protected by a non-flammable and non-conductive pad.

Note from the Manufacturer:

• In case of commercial use, the label for ion batteries in dangerous goods class 9 must be attached to the case.
• Even with visible damage, the safety pad can still be used, and functionality is maintained. Damage caused by fire is excluded from this. However, it is recommended that damaged pads be replaced to ensure continued safe transport and storage.
• In the event of a fire, it is essential that the case remains closed until it has cooled down. Otherwise, the battery will catch fire again when exposed to oxygen.
• After a battery fire, the case should be brought outdoors to allow all gases and smoke to escape.
