Der BBB ProfiCut BTL-54 ist die höherwertige Version der BBB FastCut BTL-16. Die Zange macht einen sehr massiven aber gleichzeitig auch einen etwas groben Eindruck auf mich. Der Schneidemechanismus fällt im Vergleich zur FastCut massiver aus und die Griffe fühlen sich angenehmer an. Der Schließbügel kommt aber auch hier immer wieder beim Arbeiten in die Quere. Für das Gebotene finde ich den Preis allerdings nicht gerechtfertigt.

Als Alternative bervorzuge ich inzwischen (aus eigener Erfahrung) die Knipex Drahtseilschere. Diese ist im Vergleich günstiger, macht auf mich einen wertigeren Eindruck und die Verriegelung der Zange finde ich besser gelöst. Außerdem wird die Knipex in Deutschland hergestellt während die BBB in Taiwan hergestellt wird.
