Brooks Cambium C19 Carved All Weather Saddle

I bought this saddle instead of a leather Brooks because I wanted something a bit lighter but equally comfortable. I'm afraid that it doesn't cut it. Saddles are a very personal thing and what works for some doesn't for others. I just couldn't get used to it.
The natural rubber flexes with your weight but doesn't adapt to your anatomy like a leather saddle would. Also the "all-weather" surface is slightly grippy so it is a bit harder to shift your position as you cycle.
People who are used to narrow and rigid racing saddles might find this comfortable but personally I prefer the natural feel of a real leather Brooks saddle. If you pay extra for comfortable shoes why not pay extra for a comfortable saddle?
