C-BEAR BB86 Rotor Gen2 MTB / Cyclocross Bottom Bracket - For Rotor and other 30 mm cranksets

The C-BEAR BB86/92 Rotor MTB / Cyclocross bottom bracket is used to install a crank with 30 mm axle, e.g. from Rotor, in a press fit frame with 86.5 mm to 92 mm bottom bracket shell width. In the second generation, the right-side bearing cup has been widened, so there is no spacer at all. Thanks to the seals and special grease, the ceramic bearings can handle any muddy ride. As usual with C-BEAR, the cups are made from aluminium.

C-BEAR (Ceramic BEARings) Inner bearings are available with 2 different types of ceramic bearings. MTB/Cyclocross bottom brackets are designed for use in mud and on dusty roads. Special grease and seals make these bearings particularly suited for tough conditions.

High Quality Bearing Cups
C-BEAR bearing cups are made of CNC precision-machined aluminium. C-BEAR adopted an anti-plastic stance as early as 2011/2012, when plastic additives were just becoming the norm in bottom bracket manufacturing. Metal housing means higher precision, lower tolerances and avoiding flex and deformation.
