Eleven sprockets that are still more efficient despite reduced sprocket thickness? Campagnolo has achieved this: the shaping of the teeth optimises the speed and smoothness of the chain passage during shifting. With this tooth shape, the stresses acting on the chain are reduced so that it rises faster onto the larger chainrings. The larger sprockets are grouped in threes and mounted on a newly developed aluminium carrier frame. This increases the stiffness by 180 % and the individual sprockets are 70 % more torsionally stiff.

Ultra-Link™
The exclusive Ultra-Link™ locking system is the chain's " safety key" for 11-speed drivetrains: the locking pin has been designed to ensure a consistent and secure hold of the chain after locking with the specially designed UT-CN300 tool. Campagnolo 11-speed drive chains are made of a special steel that is 20% more resistant and have a special design of the outer chain plate for faster shifting even under stress.
