The UFO chain for Shimano 12-speed drivetrains is a special chain for racing use in which friction has been reduced to a minimum. CeramicSpeed subjected an original chain from Shimano to a time-consuming, multi-stage optimisation process in which it was polished, cleaned and coated. The result of UltraFast Optimization (UFO) according to an improved formula is an ultra-fast chain that saves 2 to 5 watts over the first 650 kilometres.
