The specialist among the breakers. Continental has combined the SafetySystem Breaker with a highly flexible rubber especially for e-bikes up to 50 km/h. The result is an extremely cut and stab resistant breaker, which has a low rolling resistance thanks to its high elasticity. This protects the environment and the battery. ECO50
The tyres with ECO50 technology benefit from over 100 years of experience in the development of moped and motorcycle tyres. Optimised and recommended for e-bikes up to 50 km/h, they guarantee low rolling resistance and good puncture protection thanks to their particularly high-quality construction. The durability was tested especially for e-bikes to counteract the premature wear and tear caused by the additional driving force. These models have the ECE-R 75 certification mark, which permits the use on fast e-bikes up to 50 km/h.

Dynamo compatible
These tyres have a special tread on the sidewall and therefore are particularly suitable for the use of bottle dynamos - the dynamo rolls quietly and doesn't slip on wet surfaces.

TWI-Wear Indicators
Treadless tyres in particular usually do not offer any usable indication for timely replacement, like tyres with a raised tread do. For this reason, Continental started to introduce wear indicators on treadless Road bike tyres for the first time in 2004 with the Grand Prix 4000. The TWIs (Tread Wear Indicators) can now be found on almost every Continental Road bike tyre.
