Easy to install and remarkably reliable. Continental TL is the solution to meet the demands of cycling races. The user-friendly tubeless system is based on an optimised tubeless foot, which not only provides a stable hold in the rim but is also almost airtight thanks to its shape. For optimum sealing, Continental recommends the use of RevoSealant tyre sealant.

ProTection:
The ProTection technology gives tyres the perfect blend of smooth running, grip and puncture protection. This is made possible by an additional all-round puncture protection layer, which makes the entire tyre particularly resistant and insensitive to puncture. Despite the extra ply, the tyre has excellent cushioning ability and cleanly handles the hardest trails. BlackChili provides smooth run and grip.

Fahre den Reifen in 40er Breite tubeless (Conti-Dichtmilch) auf meinem Gravelbike (Cervelo Aspero) und bin bisher sehr zufrieden. Der Reifen rollt gefühlt sehr gut und bietet auch für schnelle Schotterkurven guten Halt. Bin sehr happy damit!

Update nach einigen weiteren Ausfahrten in verschiedenen Terrains: bin immer noch sehr zufrieden. Vor allem der Speed dieses Reifens auf Forststraßen und schnellen Trails ist genial. Habe etwas mit dem Luftdruck gespielt und bin von 3 bar auf 2,2-2,5 bar runter. Damit läuft der Reifen noch geschmeidiger auf Schotter ohne Durchschläge bisher. Einzige Schwäche des Reifens ist die Anfälligkeit für Durchstiche, die mich nicht 100% überzeugt. Hatte bisher noch keinen Platten im Wald/auf Schotter und Trails, was der Reifen aber nicht mag sind mit Rollsplitt u.ä. vollgemüllte Radwege. Unter diesen Bedingungen (Pendeln zur Arbeit) hatte ich bereits mehrere Durchstiche, von denen sich die meisten zwar mit Zugabe von Dichtmilch beheben ließen - trotzdem nervig! Werde jetzt mal die Dichtmilch von NoTubes ausprobieren (bisher Conti).

Fazit: toller schneller, komfortabler Reifen für den Sporteinsatz im Wald und auf Trails. Etwas empfindlich für Durchstiche.
