Perfect traction for the cold season: the Top Contact Winter II Premium Tyre by Continental

Continental has further optimized the Top Contact Winter II and enhanced it with a Vectran® Breaker and a foldable core. This optimises its weight and consequently reduces rolling resistance. The tread compound was directly adapted front the Conti car winter tyres. The tyre feels best at temperatures between -25° and +7°C. Where other compounds have long since lost their grip, the proven siped tread of the Top Contact Winter II Premium interlocks with snow and wet cold surfaces. Here the tyre is superior even to studs, which cannot do anything on snow and badly cleared roads. The reflective stripes provide additional safety in this dark season. Handmade in Germany!

Vectran™ Breaker
The reference in puncture protection. A synthetically produced high-tech fibre with spun silk as a natural model. Vectran is spun from the molten liquid polymer Vectra and processed into a multi-fibre yarn. Enormously tear-resistant at the lowest possible weight - just right to be used as puncture protection in a premium tyre by Continental. And this without affecting the rolling resistance.

ECO50
The tyres with ECO50 technology benefit from over 100 years of experience in the development of moped and motorcycle tyres. Optimised and recommended for e-bikes up to 50 km/h, they guarantee low rolling resistance and good puncture protection thanks to their particularly high-quality construction. The durability was tested especially for e-bikes to counteract the premature wear and tear caused by the additional driving force. These models have the ECE-R 75 certification mark, which permits the use on fast e-bikes up to 50 km/h.

Dynamo compatible
These tyres have a special tread on the sidewall and therefore are particularly suitable for the use of bottle dynamos - the dynamo rolls quietly and doesn't slip on wet surfaces.
