Ratchet System
The robust and reliable star ratchets freehub system can be maintained easily and quickly. The no-tool concept contributes to this, because it allows disassembly without any tools. The freehub has two ratchets which engage simultaneously. This means that the contact surface is large and the point load is kept small, which relieves the material and allows the freehub to work particularly reliably and precisely. The standard Ratchet System has toothed discs with 36 teeth, but it can also be equipped with more or fewer teeth. If it also bears the designation " SL" (" Superlight" ), this means that the toothed discs are specially machined to save weight.
