DT Swiss ARC 1100 DICUT 62 Carbon Rim Brake 28" Wheelset
DT Swiss ARC 1100 DICUT 62 Carbon rim brake 28" wheelset - medium-height aero rims for high performances
The ARC 1100 DICUT wheelset from DT Swiss gives your aero or time trial bike with rim brakes improved aerodynamics. The 62 mm deep carbon DICUT rim has received an optimised design. This gives it more inside rim width. Through this change, more comfortable, wider tyres from 25 to 28 mm can also be used on your road bike without increasing the rolling resistance. Despite a rim depth of 62 mm, the steering behaviour can be controlled safely. You also benefit from a noticeable sailing effect during crosswinds. The good steering control is achieved, among other things, by the aerodynamic 180 hub and Aerolite II spokes. They are able to reduce the air resistance caused by the rotation of the wheels. The flat forged Aerolite II straight pull spokes have a T-shaped spoke head which sits securely in the hub. Due to the advanced freehub technology, the Ratchet EXP 36 tooth freehub, uncomfortable idling is kept to a minimum so that your pedalling power is immediately available when you push your legs into the pedals.

Ratchet EXP
A ratchet and a threaded ring are integrated into the hub. This reduces the number of components required, resulting in less wear and tear and a lower weight. In addition, the heavy-duty and reliable ratchet system can be easily and quickly maintained. The no-tool concept plays a decisive role, as it allows the freehub to be replaced without any tools. The freehub has two ratchets which engage simultaneously. This means that the contact surface is large and the point load is kept small, which relieves the material and allows the freehub to work particularly reliably and precisely.
Pro Lock
The nipple thread is coated with two-component adhesive to increase the durability of the wheels. It can still be re-trued several times without any problems, but the adhesive strength decreases slightly. The connection between the spoke and nipple cannot loosen by itself.
