DT Swiss EX 1700 SPLINE 30 Boost centre lock disc 29" wheelset - more stability on your Enduro bike

With the DT Swiss EX 1700 SPLINE you can equip your 29" Enduro bike with a robust wheelset. The SPLINE structure is very sturdy. This is due to the combination of a 350 hub, straight pull spokes and a reinforced rim. In the Boost version the hub, together with the inner rim width of 30 mm, allows for really wide tyres to be mounted onto your MTB. You can also ride your MTB with very low tyre pressures if the trail requires it. With the centre lock brake rotors, your bike will not let you down even during hard braking.

Technology:

Intended use - Category 4:
Suitable for use in very rough terrain with jumps of up to approx. 120 cm in height and speeds of up to 40 km/h. Very good riding technique is required. The components must be checked for damage after each ride.

SPLINE:
Straight pull hubs, straight spokes and strong rims result in a durable wheel. It can therefore be reliably used in training and competition.

Ratchet System:
The robust and reliable star ratchets freehub system can be maintained easily and quickly. The no-tool concept contributes to this, because it allows disassembly without any tools. The freehub has two ratchets which engage simultaneously. This means that the contact surface is large and the point load is kept small, which relieves the material and allows the freehub to work particularly reliably and precisely.

Pro Lock:
The nipple thread is coated with two-component adhesive to increase the durability of the wheels. It can still be re-trued several times without any problems, but the adhesive strength decreases slightly. The connection between the spoke and nipple cannot loosen by itself.
