DT Swiss F 232 One 29" Boost Crown Adjust Suspension Fork
DT Swiss F 232 ONE 29" Boost suspension fork with crown adjust for the highest Cross Country demands
DT Swiss has designed the F 232 One suspension fork specifically for Cross Country riders. Three driving modes can be set using the lever on the crown of the fork (" Crown-Adjust" ): OPEN, DRIVE and LOCK. In OPEN mode you get the strongest cushioning suitable for downhill sections. Even small bumps in the ground are evened out. You also have the possibility to choose between 13 further gradations. In the DRIVE mode, only strong shocks are damped, so you have little energy loss while driving. In the LOCK mode you ride completely without damping. The pedalling force is converted exclusively into propulsion. The fork has undergone a topology optimisation, which has allowed it to be optimised in terms of weight without losing the necessary stiffness. It also has room for 29" wheels and Boost hubs.

- Note:
- Check that the suspension fork and wheel are installed free of play. Check the clearance of the tyre that you are using. Inflate tyres to the maximum allowable pressure. The lower maximum pressure specified by the tyre or rim applies. There must be at least 6 mm of space between the tyre and the suspension fork or fender when the suspension fork is fully compressed.

- 203 mm
- Weight Limit:
- 130 kg (rider + gear)
Features:
- pressure mode adjustment via a lever on the fork crown
- in the OPEN mode the pressure level can be fine-tuned with 13 clicks
- a low breakaway force, therefore early spring compression
Technology:
Intended use - Category 3:Suitable for use on rough paved and unpaved ground, with a raised riding technique and occasional drops and jumps of approx. 60 cm.
APT (Adaptable Progression Tune):
The spring characteristic, the relationship between force and suspension travel, can be adapted to the riding style, the ability and the trails you ride on.
This is done by inserting or omitting spacers in the air chamber. The breakaway torque is not compromised in this process.
InControl Damping System:
The damping or rather the compression speed can be adjusted to the respective driving situation. This is done in three stages: OPEN, DRIVE and LOCK.
In the OPEN mode, the damping system reacts to all unevenness in a precisely tuned manner. It is therefore best suited for downhill sections. It can be individually adjusted to the rider's weight and tyre pressure via 13 fine gradations.
The DRIVE mode reacts to coarse unevenness, but otherwise hardly allows any energy loss via the damping system. This setting is therefore recommended on technical sections and easy uphill sections.
In the LOCK mode, you receive a rigid fork, which allows the pedalling force to be effectively converted into propulsion, as there is no loss of energy.
The three pressure levels are set via oil channels which are opened differentially and thus allow the various levels of damping. In LOCK mode the oil channels are completely closed, but to prevent damage in case of strong impacts, a blow-off valve opens.
LineAir Suspension System:
With a low breakaway force, early damping is made possible. As a result, the damping increases linearly in the mid-range and achieves a much steeper progression in the end range, which allows a strong compression without bottoming out. This is achieved through a spring system consisting of air chambers, where the pressure in the negative air chamber is higher than in the positive air chamber when fully rebounded.
Topology Optimisation:
Computer-based calculation methods are used to refine the material design for specific loads under marginal conditions as much as possible. Material is left out in places where it is not needed. This makes a lower weight of the component possible, without compromising stability and performance.
