The DT Swiss HGC 1400 SPLINE 42 Hybrid in 28" - high-quality carbon wheels for e-gravel bikes

DT Swiss developed the HGC 1400 wheelset, here in the non-boost version for 28 inches, specifically for e-gravel bikes. With its 42 mm deep and 24 mm wide carbon rims, it ensures unrestricted fun when riding on gravel tracks. The rims have a hookless design, which ensures greater impact resistance, and can of course also be used without an inner tube. High-quality 240 SPLINE hubs designed for center-lock brake rotors and straight-pull spokes impress with their reliable function. A ratchet-system freehub with 24 teeth is used, which is highly resilient and very easy to maintain. The DT Aero Comp Hybrid spokes - 24 at the front and 28 at the rear - feature a three-cross lacing pattern and are fitted with bonded Pro-Lock nipples to offer you even more security. All of this makes the HGC 1400 wheelset the perfect addition for high-end e-gravel bikes.

Ratchet System
The robust and reliable star ratchets freehub system can be maintained easily and quickly. The no-tool concept contributes to this, because it allows disassembly without any tools. The freehub has two ratchets which engage simultaneously. This means that the contact surface is large and the point load is kept small, which relieves the material and allows the freehub to work particularly reliably and precisely. The ratchet system has 36-tooth discs as standard, but can also be fitted with more or fewer teeth. If it also bears the designation " SL" (" Superlight" ), this means that the toothed discs are specially machined to save weight.

SPLINE
Straight pull hubs, straight spokes and strong rims result in a durable wheel. It can therefore be reliably used in training and competition.

Pro Lock
The nipple thread is coated with two-component adhesive to increase the durability of the wheels. It can still be re-trued several times without any problems, but the adhesive strength decreases slightly. The connection between the spoke and nipple cannot loosen by itself.
