I got these rims on my ebike so I did not choose them myself. The holes on these rims are drilled straight and not towards the hub flange. This will lead into the nipple pointing straight towards the hub and then the spoke has a kink right where it leaves the nipple. This will result in frequent spoke failures. I have ridden my bike for a year and I’ve had multiple snapped spokes. My local bikeshop guy told me that there is nothing that can be done to this other than replace the rim to one that has holes drilled in the right angle. My ebike has a nexus 5e hub at the back. Front wheel has not suffered from broken spokes.
