MTB Hubs
350 Hubs
The 350 series offers Swiss precision at an affordable price, for those that do not prioritise weight and aerodynamics. Equipped with the Ratchet system, they are just as reliable and durable as the 180 and 240 hubs, but their overall design language is simpler. Available for both straightpull and classic spokes, they are everyday heroes for your bike!
240 Hubs
The 240 series by DT Swiss are the hub classics par excellence. Produced by the Swiss wheel manufacturer using their many years of know-how, they offer a direct and completely reliable power transmission. The highly precise workmanship of the all-new Ratchet EXP freehub body makes the hubs even lighter, stiffer and more precise than their predecessors. Available for both straightpull and classic spokes.
180 Hubs
The 180 series encompasses the best hubs in the DT Swiss range. Weight-optimised in all areas, they run almost wihtout friction and without loss of power on high-quality ceramic bearings and they are equipped with the new Ratchet EXP freewheel system. The 180 series is only available in the version for straightpull spokes.
Ratchet Freehub System
The Ratchet system is the freehub system developed and patented by DT Swiss. It is based on the precise engagement of the ratchet teeth, which convert your leg power into forward drive. They convince racing cyclists and mountain bikers equally with their quality, load-bearing capacity and reliability. The press fit end caps of the hub have been designed following the notool concept, through which the hub can be maintained quickly and effortlessly. All Ratchet hubs can easily be converted to all common axle and freehub standards.
Ratchet EXP Freehub System
Ratchet EXP is the new development stage from the proven freehub system by DT Swiss. Through the clever fusion of the inboard ratchet to the threaded ring it was possible to reduce the number of components and thus the weight of the hub. The teeth of the ratchet engage more quickly and offer an even better reliability in power transmission. Additionally, it was possible to increase the distance between the bearings, which resulted in an increase of hub stiffness by 15%. The Press Fit end caps were also reworked and are now even easier to disassemble because of an added notch.
