Really nice pedals for a very reasonable price.
They work very well with shimano cleats, however the disengagement feels slightly off at lower tensions; once I increased the tensions on the pedals, both clipping in and clipping out feels great (with the shimano cleats).
The black colour however does scratch very easily, even after using them just once. But this is to be expected.

Am using with Shimano shoes and have found disengagement to be very unreliable - foot often gets stuck on the pedal. Have tried all manor of adjustment provided by pedal and cleat-positioning system, but to no avail. It looks like the tread of the shoe does not permit the locking mechanism of the pedal to move through its full range of motion, so the cleat gets stuck in a semi-disengaged state. Cutting away the tread would therefore help, but I don't want to do this, as, with my Shimano pedals, that bit of tread makes up part of the contact surface between pedal and shoe.

Scratch easily, good price, appear well made and strong.
