The SL-K Modular BB386EVO is a crank for gravel, adventure or road use. Thanks to BB386EVO 30 mm axle, this modular system fits a wide range of frames with different bottom bracket standards. The large chainring is attached directly to the crank arm and serves as a spider - the small chainring is attached to it. Chainring combinations offered are 32-48 and 30-46.

The 386EVO axle, 30 mm in diameter, has a better stiffness to weight ratio than the 24 mm axle of a MegaExo crank. The bearings are positioned further apart than with BB30 for increased stiffness and stability. Important advantage: the 386EVO crank systems are compatible with threaded bottom bracket shells. Although it is essentially a press fit system, 386EVO cranksets can be used on a BSA threaded frame. The 386EVO system is an open system that is also compatible with BB30 and PF-30 via corresponding adapters and bearing cups.

Note:

For cranksets with fewer teeth than 34-50 Z (sub-compact), a lower assembly of the front derailleur is necessary. Please check your frame to see if the front derailleur clamp can be installed lower on the seat tube or if the braze-on mount allows a lower positioning of the front derailleur.
