The unique design of the OSTRO V.A.M. T74a SRAM DUB frameset has been further developed in terms of high performance. It is now even lighter, stiffer and more aerodynamic than its predecessor.
The OSTRO V.A.M. stands for Factor's unrivalled precision and quality and allows you to build a super-light, aerodynamic road bike with disc brakes. The frame, fork and seatpost have all been specially optimised for optimum aerodynamics. The lightweight frameset impresses with its outstanding stiffness thanks to the use of TeXtreme carbon fibres. TeXtreme consists of flat fibres that can be laid wide, resulting in efficient use of materials. These fibres are supported by pitch-based carbon fibres. The frame offers tyre clearance of up to 32 mm, while the specially developed fork can also accommodate tyres up to 32 mm wide.
This means you can easily fit wide tyres to enjoy a more comfortable ride. With the high-end headset and bottom bracket from CeramicSpeed, you experience lower friction loss while riding. The aerodynamic handlebar-stem unit from Black Inc helps to ensure that the frameset lives up to its name. After all, the OSTRO is one of the main Mediterranean winds.
