The Factor OSTRO V.A.M. is a super lightweight, aerodynamic carbon road bike with Shimano Ultegra 2x12-speed electronic groupset and Shimano wheelset. By using very flat TeXtreme fibres in combination with pitch-based carbon fibres, the frame has high stiffness with low material usage. Just like the fork and the seatpost, it has been optimised for aerodynamics. The tyre clearance is 32 mm for both the rear and front wheel, so you can run wide tyres without hesitation, for example to achieve more riding comfort. Equipped with the highly efficient Ultegra drivetrain, the aerodynamic handlebar stem unit from Black Inc and Continental GP 5000 tyres, this bike lives up to its name. After all, the OSTRO is one of the main Mediterranean winds. Details such as the high-end headset and the friction-minimising CeramicSpeed bottom bracket complete the performance-oriented set-up.
