Aliante saddles are the widest and most longitudinally corrugated of the Fizik trio of Spine Concept models developed by cycling professionals.
The Aliante R1 saddle is light, flexible and agile and allows you to achieve your best. It was designed with professionals for professionals, to be ridden by professionals. The special features are a carbon co-injected shell for best support with an optimised stiffness-to-weight ratio, the Twin Flex technology which combines a strong, stiff carbon layer with a flexible comfortable carbon layer - and the carbon braided seat stays which have a low weight and high strength.

Since the introduction of the first Spine Concept, Fizik has conducted intensive studies with professional cyclists and the University of Colorado to better understand how the biomechanics of cycling relate to comfort and performance.
The result is the Spine Concept Evo - an evolution in the connection between rider and machine. Spine Concept Evo also differentiates between three rider types depending on spinal and pelvic flexibility: " Snake" (flexible), " Chameleon" (medium) and " Bull" (rigid).
