Giro Cinder MIPS Helmet
The Cinder MIPS Helmet by Giro - Increased protection on the road
The Cinder helmet from Giro is a secure road bike helmet with MIPS protection. This lightweight headgear is stable thanks to roll cage reinforcement. A total of 26 vents and the Wind Tunnel system ensure optimal ventilation around the head. Its quick-drying inner lining also makes it particularly comfortable to wear. You can easily adjust the size via the Roc Loc 5 system. For all bikers with long hair, the Cinder has a recess which accommodates a plait or ponytail.

Technology:
In-Mold ConstructionThe polycarbonate outer shell is glued to the EPS inner shell, which increases the resistance of the helmet. It also makes it easier to shape vents, which means that In-Mold designs typically have better ventilation systems and a lighter weight.
MIPS
MIPS stands for " Multi Directional Impact Protection System" and refers to a movable protection layer consisting of three components: an EPS liner and low-friction liner, which are then connected by an elastomeric fastening system. This layer protects the brain from oblique impact. The principle of the natural low-friction layer of the brain is adapted in order to minimise the forces that occur.
Roc Loc 5 Fit System:
The size adjustment mechanism is encased in a small housing. It can be adjusted in small increments with only two fingers. It also allows for height adjustment in three incremental levels.
Roll Cage Reinforcement
Nylon incorporated directly into the EPS foam increases stability.
Wind Tunnel Ventilation
Internal ventilation channels and vents direct cool air around the head and expel excess heat.
