The Eclipse by Giro is a particularly aerodynamic road bike helmet with MIPS Spherical safety system. Transform-Air technology reduces drag from different angles, so you're extremely streamlined in both the upper and lower handlebar positions. Nevertheless, your head is optimally ventilated thanks to the wind tunnel ventilation, so that you don't get too hot even in gruelling race situations. It has been equipped with the Roc-Loc 5 adjustment system to ensure that the helmet fits perfectly. You can easily set the exact size yourself in small increments. Antibacterial Ionic+ padding prevents unpleasant odours from developing after sweaty tours. Reflective details increase your visibility.

Technology:

MIPS Spherical
This is the further development of the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System and has two movable protective layers. These can move in all directions and function similarly to a joint. The brain is thus protected against angular impact. The principle of the natural low-friction layer of the brain is adapted in order to minimise the forces that occur.

In-Mold Construction
The polycarbonate outer shell is glued to the EPS inner shell, which increases the resistance of the helmet. It also makes it easier to shape vents, which means that In-Mold designs typically have better ventilation systems and a lighter weight.

Roc Loc 5
The size adjustment mechanism is encased in a small housing. It can be adjusted in small increments with only two fingers. It also allows for height adjustment in three incremental levels.

Transform Air
Transform-Air technology directs airflow to reduce drag from many angles. This delivers an aerodynamic advantage both in the sprint position and in the drops, as well as with aero handlebars.

Wind Tunnel Ventilation
