CoolMax®
CoolMax is a brand name for a range of moisture-wicking technical fabrics. This fibre was developed in 1986 by DuPont Textiles & Interiors (now Invista). The fabrics are made of specially developed polyester fibres with an emphasis on breathability. This results in an improvement compared to natural fibres such as cotton. CoolMax is one of the fabrics developed to draw moisture away from the skin by capillary action and produce increased evaporation over a larger surface area.
