The ION Rascal Select clipless pedal shoe is outfitted with classic lacing, velcro closure and SupTraction Rubber Soul CL (CL for Clipless). With a reinforced upper and an OrthoLite® Eco Plush insole, this professional-class shoe offers more than just uncompromising pedal power transmission: the construction combines rigidity along the longitudinal axis with flexibility in the transverse axis. Special pedalling and climbing zones provide secure hold on and off the pedals. In addition, the Serpen_Tie 2.0 closure system ensures a perfect fit and secure closure of the upper material, so that each foot finds its individual balance. The further developed version of the closure system now allows the straps to be adjusted to avoid flapping around. The Airprene_Gaiter on the collar adapts to the ankle to keep dirt out, but still lets your feet breathe on hot days. Full Kevlar upper material makes this shoe robust against bumps and shocks. No-Sew_Reinforcements protect toes when they get stuck on stones or roots. In the ankle area, the higher collar together with the Ankle_Pad protects and supports the zone around the lower joint without hindering freedom of movement when pedalling or steering the bike via the pedals. The combination of heel support (by way of a pre-shaped heel and internal padding), a supportive footbed and padded midsole provides exceptional comfort.

The foot's instep is different for everyone, especially when it comes to height. For an adjustable but simple system based on the Serpen_Tie, ION has made the loop moveable. A seat-fixed hook allows length adjustment and thus ensures a perfect fit.

Full kevlar upper with Airprene_Gaiter:
Kevlar combined with Airprene_Gaiter keeps out dirt and grime.

SupTraction Rubber Soul CL:
A clipless pedal sole with less profile in the cleat area for easy clicking in/out. Stronger profile in the toe and heel area for reliable grip when running in slippery passages.
