Maxxis Highroller II Dual EXO Protection TR 29" Folding Tyre

The Highroller II is the logical further development of a legend. More modern and aggressive, the open tread design digs deeper into the ground, yet the rolling resistance is lower. The self-cleaning is even better. The exact adjustment of the lug positions results in very predictable handling with seamless transitions when turning into corners and at the same time enormous grip. The braking traction also benefits from the new design.

Maxxis strongly advises against the use of ammonia-based sealant. Ammonia has been proven to attack the carcass and can weaken it by up to 30% after only a few months, depending on the amount used.

For the Dual Compound, two different rubber compounds are processed into one tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned individually according to the desired properties of Maxxis tyres.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures is reduced. Maxxis TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other " tubeless ready" tyres. The bead of the Maxxis TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tyre. As a result, tubeless mounting is successful for all rims with standard dimensions even during the first inflation and with little liquid.

EXO Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewalls of various Maxxis MTB tyres. It is very tightly woven, light and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tyres remains convincingly good.
