The right 3C compound for Enduro and Freeride tyres. Smooth running uphill as well as the best grip downhill characterise this compound, combined with a long service life.
At Maxxis, the 3C tread is moulded from three different rubber compounds in one piece and not subsequently assembled from two strips. In this way, the treads can be shaped exactly to the requirements of the respective tyre model, thus optimising the riding characteristics.

EXO+ Protection
Based on a 60 tpi carcass, EXO+ features the proven EXO sidewall protection and a small butyl insert around the bead. EXO+ ranks between EXO-Protection and DoubleDown carcasses in terms of robustness and weight.

Wide Trail (WT)
This design optimises the tread layout and tyre shape on today's modern wider rims. Traditional tyres are designed for narrower rims and become square on wider rims, resulting in a less than optimal performance. WT tyres are optimised for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work excellently on all rims with an inner dimension of 30 - 40 mm.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures is reduced. Maxxis TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other " Tubeless Ready" tyres, because the bead of Maxxis TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tubeless tyre. As a result, tubeless mounting is successful for all rims with standard dimensions even during the first inflation and with little liquid.
