The Sudpin IV is an update to the legendary Sudpin III, which has already been used on thousands of bikes to perfection and will continue to do so in the future. A lot has changed after the first Red Bull Rampage event. Higher, faster, further, harder. NC-17 have responded to this with the Sudpin IV and made the impossible possible. Safety first! This applies to the Pro Team Rider as well as to all NC-17 products.
The FAIL SAFE system developed by NC-17 once again sets new standards. If you don't need that, the Sudpin III is still a good choice.

The NC-17 FAIL SAFE prevents the pedal body from separating from the axle - even under the most extreme stress in the event of a malfunction. Even if it is unlikely that FAIL SAFE will be used, it is good to know that it is there.
More safety with the same weight.
By redesigning the pedal body, NC-17 was able to compensate for the shoring and the additional weight of the FAIL SAFE system. Like its predecessor Sudpin III, Sudpin IV remains one of the lightest in this pedal category, weighing only 364 g.
