With the help of the compression strap inside, you can also reduce the bag's pack size at any time. The bottom, reinforced with abrasion-resistant Cordura, also ensures the bag's particularly high durability.

Note from the manufacturer:

To achieve protection class IP67 (dust-tight, protected against ingress of water in case of temporary submersion), the zip closure must be completely closed.
For easy opening and closing of the zipper, it is necessary to treat the entire zip fastener, especially also at the U-shaped end piece (port), with sliding paste. Wipe off the remains of the sliding paste with a cloth and open and close the zipper several times.

TIZIP®
The TIZIP zip closure by ORTLIEB consists of a plastic spiral zipper on a sturdy fabric. Sealing zippers " slide harder" than conventional zip fasteners and must therefore be regularly kept operable with lubricating paste. Products with TIZIP zippers are suitable wherever protection against moisture and dust must be guaranteed, and quick and convenient access is required. Each spiral half is securely embedded and secured in a profile made of composite material. When closing the zipper, the sealing lips above and below the spiral are pressed together. The ingenious design prevents the slider from rubbing against the sealing lips during both opening and closing. On top of that, the composite profile is highly abrasion-resistant. The physics of the zipper are designed in such a way that the tightness improves when the internal pressure is increased or in general when a transverse load is applied, by pressing the sealing lips more strongly together. The zipper is extremely resistant to dirt and shows the highest level of durability and longevity even under rough conditions. It is tread-proof, highly resistant to abrasion and can tolerate short sharp bends. The zipper has an extremely high transverse tensile strength of 300 N/cm when closed.
