The Up-Town Rack City Basket by Ortlieb is a waterproof bicycle basket made of PU-coated nylon fabric, which you can quickly attach to your pannier rack with the help of the Top-Lock adapter system. With 17.5 litres of volume, it offers you plenty of storage space for relaxed bike tours or shopping trips. Thanks to release handles on both sides, you can detach the basket from the rack at any time and take it with you wherever you go. Thanks to its lid closure with lid fixation in the middle, you have quick access to the contents without having to open the lid completely. An inner pocket with zipper lets you store your valuables separately. Storage feet and an internal stiffener provide independent support so that you can load and unload the basket comfortably at any time. The lightweight, sturdy aluminium frame with adjustable, comfortable handle makes touring and shopping even easier. For better visibility in road traffic, the basket is equipped with a reflector. Top-Lock Adapter System
With the Top-Lock adapter system by Ortlieb, you can easily fix bags and bike baskets on the loading area of your rack. The fastening system is completely integrated in the bag or basket and is equipped with anti-slip nubs. You can quickly release your luggage from the loading area using the side-mounted release handles. The adapter clamps are adjustable and easily adapt to different pannier rack models - even those with spring flaps.
