The Holbrook has a timeless classic design reminiscent of the screen heroes of the 40s, 50s and 60s - cult figures whose indomitable will shaped this generation. Which one do you identify with? A legend - sometimes a loner, sometimes a leader, an average guy who lived with integrity, stood up for what was right and always did what needed to be done. He wouldn't be called a macho man, though, because that wasn't his scene. He was authentic - from the dust on his shoes to his look that made it clear he could disappear from one second to the next because there was nothing to hold him down.

The name " Holbrook" is similarly inspired. Holbrook is a small town on historic Route 66 in Arizona, where the landscape opens up to the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Park. A typical desert wasteland of the American West that perfectly embodies the spirit of exploration and adventure of travellers on Highway 66 in the 50s and 60s.

Metallic-finished screws and icons accentuate the design of this pleasantly lightweight frame, which is made of durable O Matt® with PLUTONITE® lenses that filter out 100 percent of UV rays.. Optical precision and impact resistance meet ANSI Z87.1 standards for unsurpassed clarity and superior protection. Various lens/frame combinations are available. Oakley HDPolarized offer 99% glare reduction. Versions with Iridium®coating provide even stronger glare protection and more balanced light transmission. Original Oakley prescription lenses are available in a variety of options.
