The OneUp Components Switch Carrier Spider is an essential part of the Switch Direct Mount chainring system, which greatly simplifies and speeds up chainring changes. You only need a 4 mm Allen key to complete the assembly in the shortest possible time, and without removing the crank. The Switch Carrier is the heart of the OneUp Switch quick-change system. It connects the replaceable chainrings to your crank and is available for maximum compatibility with the major crank standards.
No matter whether you decide on a round or an oval chainring: Once the Carrier is mounted, you can change your chainrings within minutes. So if you want to ride a trail that is steeper than your local route, you can switch to a smaller chainring in the parking lot - faster than your friend can put on their cycling shoes! You'll also save money too, because a OneUp Components Switch replacement chainring costs less than a new Direct Mount chainring.
