Bleeding tools and syringes for DOT fluid brakes should never be used for mineral fluid brake systems or with mineral brake fluid. The DOT fluid and mineral oils should never be mixed in the brake system or in the respective service tools. The use of incompatible fluid may cause the seal to fail, which in turn may cause the brake to fail.
