Praxis Works Zayante Carbon M30 DM Road 1x Crankset
Praxis Works Zayante Carbon M30 crankset with Wave Tech chainring
The Praxis Works Zayante Carbon M30 DM Road crankset with one chainring features a successful combination of lightness, stiffness and versatility. It takes its name from a famous road lined with sequoia trees near Santa Cruz, California. The included direct mount chainring with 38, 40 or 42 teeth has a unique tooth profile pattern (so-called Wave Tech), which provides special chain retention and excellent self-cleaning properties. In addition, the load is distributed more evenly, which benefits the service life. Note that the Zayante crankset must be combined with a Praxis Works M30 bottom bracket.

Technology:
Wave™ Tech 1xThe Wave tooth profile applies the lateral force alternately from right and left to the chain links in order to actively hold the chain in place. The teeth are positioned alternately further to the right or further to the left of the chainring centre and the characteristic wave movement is created when the chainring is viewed from above while the crank is turning. This design opens up larger areas for dirt and mud cleaning and prevents chain dropping in difficult conditions. Wave results in much less wear than comparable designs and distributes the load over a larger area.
M30
Praxis Works M30 bottom brackets are only suitable for use with Praxis Works M30 cranks. The M30 axle corresponds to a kind of " oversize GXP" . It is 30 mm thick and reduced to 28 mm on the left end to fit the non-drive side bearings. A shaft washer is used at the drive side to provide preload and a 30 mm bearing, which is opposed by a 28 mm bearing at the non-drive side. M30 combines the advantages of wide bearings with the benefits of a sturdy 30 mm axle. This enables a secure fit and better power transmission.
