Rohloff CC PM Axle Plate & PM Bone Disc Brake Adapter Set

The CC PM Set by Rohloff consisting of an axle plate and PM Bone disc brake adapter is used to transfer the torque to the frame

The Rohloff CC PM Set consists of CC PM axle plate and PM Bone disc brake adapter. This allows you to mount Speedhubs to frames with post mount disc brake mounts. The fixation points for the brake caliper of the post mount direct disc brake mount are used for torque support along with the PM Bone. The PM Bone adapter requires a larger diameter brake rotor after installation.

PM Bone
The Rohloff CC PM axle plate in combination with the PM Bone allows the Speedhub to be mounted on 135 mm, 142 mm, 148 mm, 170 mm or 177 mm frames with a post mount disc brake mount. Here the mounting points for the brake caliper of the post mount disc brake mount (either on the seatstay or chainstay) are used for torque support with the PM Bone. The Rohloff PM Bone must be mounted on the mounting points of the disc brake mount. This acts like an adapter and thus alters the required brake rotor size to a larger diameter. Mounting on 5" or 8" brake mounts is therefore not possible.

The following conditions must be met for the safe installation of the PM axle plate and PM Bone: the Rohloff PM axle plate must lie flat against the frame in the area of the axle plate (R20 / 40 mm) and must not collide with other frame parts (e.g. weld bead). Only then can the PM axle plate and PM Bone be installed without causing further issues.

It is also possible to mount it on frames with IS disc brake mounts on the chainstay. First, an IS-PM adapter is mounted to the mounting points of the IS disc brake mount. The Rohloff PM Bone can then be screwed onto this IS-PM adapter.

Caution:
The use of the PM Bone as well as the PM axle plate is not tested for tandem use and therefore not approved!
