Changing the sprocket and sprocket carrier: the Rohloff Sprocket Remover Tool

The screw sprocket of the Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 is screwed onto the driver via a six-speed thread. To disassemble the screw sprocket with a chain whip, the driver must be held with the sprocket remover tool. In addition, the sprocket remover serves as a guide to screw the mounted splined carrier/plug-in sprocket unit onto the thread of the driver as far as it will go.
This sprocket remover replaces the previous Rohloff 8501 sprocket remover, which could only be used with 135/170 mm hubs. The new sprocket remover also works with 142/177 mm hubs (A12). An adapter and a screw are also included.
