The one and only cage with good frame contact surface. Unfortunately in these pictures the uniquely designed back of the cage is not apparent.
Thin walled trendy carbon frames with emerging alu rivets (+1 mm) don't tolerate point loads - minimal contact areas. So when you buy a fancy carbon cage it's a ticket for a disaster.
Thin carbon walls+emerging rivets on one side, and even 1,25 L heavy bottle+absent of supporting surface on the other. The trigger is vibration, pothole or minor accident. The result is that the rivets loosing or the frame cracks. Additional disadvantage: the narrow wings of the cheaper carbon cages can cut your legs in an accident :) Bye!
