The SQlab 6OX e-bike saddle combines the advantages of the successful Ergowave® and Ergolux® saddles. As part of product development, the saddle shape was tuned and perfected for particular use on E-MTBs as well as for the Gravity range.
Stretching from the rear to the front, the wave-shaped elevation of the Ergowave perfectly matches the mostly bulbous sit bone branches. This significantly reduces the pressure in the perineal area or female pubic arch. The grip material on the raised step provides additional grip at the rear. In addition, the saddle cover is robust and very stable, especially at the edges.
The flat, slightly-curved saddle nose, which is lower, also ensures less pressure on the sensitive areas for both men and women. The saddle nose features a wide design for even better pressure relief, especially on longer climbs across rough terrain, with a flat and as large as possible contact surface.

Thanks to these modifications, the 6OX is the optimal saddle for long and steep climbs on the E-MTB and at the same time provides optimal relief, even on bikes without a motor. This means that the rider no longer has to adopt exhaustive protective positions and can divert their energy to moving forward.
Thanks to SQlab active saddle technology, the saddle follows the pedalling movement, comfort is increased, the intervertebral discs are mobilised and the pressure on the sit bones is minimised. A prerequisite for maximum performance is a fit that is perfectly adapted to the athlete, which is why the saddle is available in four different sizes.

The construction of the saddle allows the pelvis to move horizontally. The execution of the so-called pelvic swing is thus guaranteed, as with natural walking. This ensures a round step which can relieve the strain on spinal discs and facet joints. This can contribute to fatigue-free riding and to the prevention of complaints in the area of the lower lumbar spine.

MaxContact® Concept
According to the SQlab MaxContact principle, the saddle noses on SQlab step saddles are not curved, but flat. This increases the contact surface without increasing the width of the saddle nose. This means more safety and comfort when sitting dynamically.

Saddle Width System
Many SQlab saddles are available in different widths, because " buying a saddle is like buying shoes" - the size has to be right! The most important thing with the saddle is that both seat bones sit completely on the saddle.

SQ-Shore
SQ-Shore is the unit for the upholstery hardness of the saddle. SQlab saddles are available in 30-70 SQ-Shore. The higher the shore, the harder the saddle.
