This electronic SRAM Apex 1 AXS 1x12-speed groupset with " Wide" chainline and XPLR gradation is recommended for use on gravel bikes. It includes crankset, rear derailleur, disc brakes, cassette and chain. The " Wide" chainline is shifted slightly to the outside, giving you a high degree of tyre clearance. The XPLR cassette with 11 to 44 teeth for Shimano Road freehubs has the right gear for you even in difficult terrain. The hydraulic disc brakes are mounted via flat mount. To keep you in control even on bumpy surfaces, the shift/brake levers and the surface of the rubber grips are textured. Its eTap shifting logic is intuitive: you shift up on one side, down on the other. With AXS, you save yourself the hassle of cable routing the rear derailleur and can use the app to adjust the shifting behaviour to your requirements if you wish.
