The 5010 5 from Santa Cruz is a nimble full-suspension carbon trail bike that shines in the S Kit version with 12-speed SRAM GX Eagle gears and adjustable RockShox suspension. The DT Swiss wheels with 29" at the front and 27.5" at the rear make the 5010 5 an agile mountain bike for winding trails and challenging terrain. The dropper post from OneUp Components provides additional comfort both uphill and downhill. And just in case, Santa Cruz has integrated the glovebox into the down tube, a storage space with plenty of room for tools and spare parts.

Virtual Pivot Point (VPP™) rear suspension system
The Virtual Pivot Point rear triangle system is the tried-and-true kinematics of Santa Cruz full suspension MTB frames. While short bellcranks allow for a compact, clean design, the thick axles combined with angular contact ball bearings provide reliable, precise vibration damping and fine-tuned response. The VPP is optimised for each bike to achieve a balance between efficient propulsion and outstanding rear triangle performance. In addition, the VPP is designed to work in harmony with long-term and regularly available shocks and components.
