The ST-R7120 from the Shimano 105 R7100 road bike groupset is a shift/brake lever for hydraulic braking and mechanical shifting in the 2x12-speed system. It impresses with its smooth shifting and strong braking performance. Its revised ergonomic design provides excellent grip comfort and accommodates different hand sizes. The distance between the handlebars and the lever has been reduced, which increases brake control and makes shifting easier. The reach of the lever can also be adjusted with the help of a hex key. ST-R7120 combines a plastic lever body with a brake lever made of lightweight aluminium and therefore weighs only about 200 grams more per pair than its electronic counterpart. A corrosion-resistant cable with Optislick coating is included.
