The Shimano Alfine SG-S7001-11 internally geared hub offers eleven optimally stepped gears with an overall gear ratio of over 400 percent (Inter-11). It has been designed for city, touring and e-bikes with Center Lock disc brakes. Its improved internal structure compared to predecessor models, the integrated shifting aid and the power modulator ensure powerful, reliable operation. In addition, the internally geared hub is pleasantly quiet.

Inter-11 gear hubs are characterised by a wide gear ratio range, which makes them suitable for different types of terrain.

Gear Change Support
Gear Change Support is a shift servo technology on Shimano gear hubs. It ensures that you can downshift quickly, precisely and without using a lot of force, as it uses part of the pedal force for this process. The pedal force acts against the shift cylinder to overcome its counterpressure and execute the gear change. The shifting force is thus reduced by 40 %.
