Shimano CUES brake caliper BR-U8000 with resin pads - Two-piston model for touring and city traffic

Shimano CUES BR-U8000 is a hydraulic disc brake caliper with two pistons and comes with organic brake pads. It provides reliable, finely adjustable brake control on your touring or city bike. Compared to the four-piston version, you save approx. 10 grams of weight per wheel. BR-U8000 is made of lacquered aluminium and has a banjo connection for the brake hose. The brake pistons are made of heat-resistant ceramic. Thanks to the One-Way Bleeding technology, the bleeding process can be carried out cleanly, quickly and easily. The model is compatible with cooling-fin brake pads.

One Way Bleeding is a technique used on Shimano calipers that facilitates brake bleeding. The hose routing has been optimised so that no air bubbles remain in the brake calliper. In combination with the funnel, the brake can be bled cleanly and easily.
