Shimano CUES SL-U6000 Mono 2x shifter for Linkglide - 2-Way Release and clamp attachment

The Shimano SL-U6000 from the CUES series is a 2x shifter for Linkglide drivetrains in sporty city, touring and MTB use. It is suitable for 9-speed as well as 10-speed and 11-speed gears. SL-U6000 is attached to handlebars with 22.2 mm clamp diameter on the left side via a clamp. As a Rapidfire Plus Mono model, it scores with fast shifting and has only one lever with which you can shift up and down. In addition, it is equipped with 2-Way Release Technology, i.e. you can operate the lever by pushing it with your thumb and pulling it with your index finger. The lever is easily accessible, ergonomically shaped and can be operated with little force. This ensures comfort and more enjoyable riding. The shifter is made of aluminium, steel and various composite materials. A steel shifter cable with a friction-reducing coating is included.

Rapidfire Plus Mono
Shimano Rapidfire Plus Mono shift levers are only available for the left side, because they shift the front derailleur. In contrast to regular Rapidfire Plus models, only one lever is installed here, which is used for both upshifting and downshifting. This is practical and accommodates natural finger positions. You change the chainring comfortably while keeping a firm grip on the handlebars and concentrating on the ride.

2-Way Release
With 2-Way Release, the shifter can be pressed and pulled to shift to the smaller sprocket or chainring. This allows you to adjust the shifting process to your personal preferences. Most Rapidfire Plus shifters are equipped with 2-Way Release.
